this investment to my career is supposed to be for at least the next 8 years out of 10 planned for me to work with trinity 2 until my body says no more..

i feel cheated.. i am sorry for expressing myself like that i know its harsh.. but I expected arri to have my back with this..

Horrible to hear all of that and think i dogged a massive bullet by retracing my order for the pan axis..

i am still using my artemis 2 and trinity 2 on the sup 1.5 thankfully I never updated it, probably never will..

i just hope things will be better.. somehow..

Personally i fly 12v vlocks with high amperage , i took note that with the a35 the bms takes about 6.5 amps divided on 2 batteries, each can do i think 10 amps on 12 volts so if i use batteries that are lower then 8 amps when i change it drops about 40% of the time so i make sure to ask the high amperage batteries so they can hold up the…

my self I’ve hesitated to update to sup 3 and stayed on sup 1.5 since i took delivery of my T2.

i am stuck now as Ive promised my colleagues the pan motor and remote control will be coming soon and had to disappoint everyone with the delay as I don’t want to show up on set with an unreliable system..

i had to lose 2…

Must be sent to arri? Do they expect us to own 2 of everything just so we can keep working while it’s being serviced?

I don’t get it. Loose screws can be just tighten why go through the trouble to ship it all the way to germany and pay export and import tax, shipping, and lose a lot of work just for a screw being tightened..

unfortunately i had received a complaint about the logo white and yellow colour reflecting on surfaces and we covered it with some black tape, I thought of a more permanent solution but don’t want to just scrape it off with a screwdriver and damage the head in any way..

You can set custom start and stop angles (for tilt and roll) and bind the command to a button on your grip or on something remote that speaks lbus through the rcp wireless feature.

you can also set the speed in degrees per second for the motion , and the rcp will calculate the motion duration shown in seconds

Are you saying the dock locking mechanism somehow changes the balance of your sled?

so you balance and the move the balance pin position to check dynamic and it moves out of balance..

sound very strange behavior, definitely shouldn’t happen

I fly 12v vlocks supplied by the rental house for the past year and had no issues with power loss or anything like that.. (unless the ac forgets to swap batteries)

im planning on moving to b-mount 24v but I don’t want to own batteries and prefer the rental to provide those.. which is a problem since its not yet fully adopted.. and currently only…

I am looking into buying remote control for my trinity 2.

I am not certin about the part list and what i need to get a working kit.

What i want is to give the dp a joystick to control tilt and roll.

I know i need the radio module and the joystick it self, what more am i missing? In terms of mounting to a tripod or a table..…

I don’t think arri is going anywhere.. the 35 was a huge success and they are still going strong.

I don’t know for sure but i think this is more about a separation of parties and going different ways. What i am sure about is that neither arri or foma will abandon us, supporting their product is not only their responsibility but it is profitable as well.
